Brief introduction of Yixing Coking Co., Ltd. of Shanxi Coke Group
Shanxi Coke Group is one of the 36 large or medium-sized state-owned enterprises which directly under the Shanxi provincial government. According to the provincial government's strategic principle to build a new energy source and chemical industry base, also in accordance to the provincial government's requirements of enlarging and strengthening the enterprise, the Group set a general idea for its development in the 11th Five Years' plan: Integrate the provincial coking industry, Control a number of coke-production, transportation and distribution enterprises as well as bases of raw coal material, Generate a production capacity of 10 million tons of coke, Transit the management-driven company to substantial, marketization, collectivize business development, thus, strengthen Shanxi's coking industry and develop the coking group to a leading enterprise in the provincial coking industry with market-domination and core competitiveness.
Shanxi Coke Group marked out a coking base with an annual output of 5 million tons of coke in Yi'an recycling economy park in Jiexiu City in the central Shanxi Province. The main projects includes Yixing 900,000 tons, Xiao Shan 1 million tons, Sharing in two local coking enterprises with an annual ouput of million tons, Sino-Japanese joint venture for one-step synthesis of dimethyl ether, special railway line of Zhang Lan etc.
Yixing Coking Co., Ltd. is a state-controlled and joint-stock enterprise set up by Shanxi Coke Group and Jiexiu Luxin Coal Gasification Company(Private). It's Shanxi Coke Group's first coking project and also the first one constructed in Yi'an Recycling Economy Park in Jiexiu City. The company is located in No.3 Northern Xinwu Industrial area, Jiexiu City. The company's registered capital is 100 million yuan and is registered in Shanxi Province Administration for Industry and Commerce on April 3rd, 2006.
Approved by provincial SASAC, "Yixing Coking Project" uses a 4.3 meteres tamper-type coke over. Gas recovery, biological treatment, Smoke and dust remover and other supporting facilities are complete. The project fully meets the national industrial policy's requirements in the aspects of technical level, environmental standards and the level of comprehensive utilization of energy, etc.
As the provincial coke group's demand, Yixing should build a province-wide leading coking project. After one year of aruduous struggles by all Yixing's participated cadres and workers, 1# coke oven is offcially put into trial production on May 1st, 2007.
